Abigail Boehm CNM, MSN, ERYT, AYS received her Masters degree in Science and Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and has spent many years practicing holistically as a Nurse Midwife. She offers a multidimensional approach to health and wellness by integrating her knowledge of western and eastern health sciences. She blends the mind/body strategies of meditation, yoga, breath work, restorative yoga therapeutics and beginner to advanced asana flow. Her knowledge and experience in nursing, midwifery, exercise physiology, brain science, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, body work, sexual health counseling and Ayurveda enhance her work. She creates a clear and useful, up to date dialogue on healthy and self loving practices with simple, practical suggestions that guide her students to integrate wholesome lifestyle changes into their personal, familial, professional, socio-cultural and spiritual practices. Abigail has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1997 and practicing yoga since her adolescence. Her teaching style is calm, practiced and fun and has been most succinctly described as “going to the heart of yoga” and…“nourishing and fun.”
Abigail resides in the artist community of Lambertville, New Jersey where she has lived for 40 years with her family. She spent her childhood in the United States, Ireland, and Spain. She now does Yoga Health and Wellness Consulting specializing in therapeutic and restorative techniques, instructs all levels yoga, offers Teacher Trainings, Women’s Workshops, Prenatal, and Yoga Based Childbirth Education for Couples in her private home based yoga studio and internationally.
